3 Point Perspective Project

Just finished this one last night.  It's a three point perspective project for my Creative Perspective class.  The scan really needs some cleaning up, though.  I just did a quick brightness adjustment for this upload.

Tattoo!! Not really...

Alright, so I was asked to do a tattoo for a friend, and this is what I came up with.  Then, the day before he wanted it, he decided that everything needed to be changed... After I had been showing it to him every day for the past week or so.  So we reworked the deal and now I'm making a different one.  I'm too nice of a guy to friends!  This is, of course, unfinished since the idea was scrapped but I like it anyhow.  About the only thing I would change is that she has rather fake looking boobs... I'm not a huge fan of 'em :p

Haha, so this blog has apparently become my Image Making class blog, since most everything on here is from that one class... I swear I'll get off my lazy bum and upload more at some point!  The promotional spread assignment.  Dune!

Tarot Card: XI. Strength

There ya go.  Done!

Symbolism:
- The card either depicts a strong male or female character (olders cards were usually female)
- It is a card of the sun
- The card is represented by Leo (the lion)
- It often depicts a woman with a calm, controlled look on her face standing beside a lion who is ready but clearly under the command of the woman.
- Often contains flowers to show balance (strength of the lion and woman vs. the elegance of the flowers)
- Also considered the card of lust
- Original designs depicted inner strngth instead of outer strength, hence the more slight figure of a woman instead of the more robust male character

Image Making Sketchbook 1

Alright, for Image making we have to draw a set of 100 drawings for a sketchbook.  The drawings are based off a list with 100 words and sentences which are to be the topics of each individual drawing.  Here are the first two: 1. Introduction and 2. Love.  I am allotting myself fifteen minutes for each.

So I'm pretty pissed... I had a really good sketch about a woman in a fur coat drinking whiskey, and the file got corrupted!  That's so freaking lame!  Blah...  Sorry about the color one: I made the mistake of starting color on a white surface.

EDIT: I fixed the file on that last sketch!

I swear it!  Just that I really shouldn't be posting concept work for other people's video games... They might not be happy about it.  At least, that is, not until after the game is finished.  Am I right?  So here's a piece that I recently finished for a contest on Deviant Art.  Hope you like!

Work For Sale

These are all rather old (drawn at the end of '07/beginning of '08) but they're all about to be hung at a store for sale.  So I took them out, cleaned them up, wrapped them in acetate, and labeled them on the back.  I'm pretty happy about it.  Sorry about the crappy pictures... I'm no photographer!

A tattoo design I did for the same friend who wanted the Zeus tattoo drawn up (look for it on my DA or Flickr).  He actually did get the Zeus put on his arm, by the way.

Technicalities

Alright, I've got some good stuff to put up in the coming days, I just have to get to it!  I've been fooling around with my page, adding what I need to get it up, running, and relevant.  I hope to see yall around as I bring everything together!
