Alright, so I posted a progress shot of this a long time ago.  However, I refused to use the crappy quality that my old camera put out on my 'professional' blog.  So I waited.  Here's the finished product!  24"X18" Oil on canvas

Strange Self Portrait

This one was actually done in my sophomore year.  I just never had a way to capture it digitally until now.  At least it's still halfway decent so I don't feel bad posting it!  24"X18" oil on canvas using a mirror

Grandparents Portrait

This was finished a few months ago but I didn't have a camera available to me that was good enough to capture it.  Now I do!  I painted this for my grandparents on my father's side.  18"X24" Oil on canvas

Uh, Roar?

Yeah, that's where it's at.  Working on a T-Rex model in Maya.  It's the first thing I've built with the program outside of class last semester.  It's also the first model that I've constructed completely by myself.

New and Yet Not So New

So I did this for the coalition that my mother is currently working for.  The design itself was already created, they just wanted it spruced up and smoothed out (no one in the coalition has any photoshop or computer experience at all what-so-ever...).  The red, yellow, and blue were not mixing in the original and there was no gradient fade either.

Well, this one is a lot closer to being the exact same pose as one of the reference photos I had of the person.  That's not what I was going for but I had a lot of trouble getting any kind of likeness so I had to tighten up the pose some.  It's still not as good of a likeness as I would have wanted, but it's already pushing an hour as a sketch which is too much!  That's what this practice is for: to get faster and more accurate!

Been a While

Alright, so here's a quick (40-min... His head's damned hard to draw!) portrait of my high school art teacher, Mr. Rheault.  I guess it looks a bit like him.  I seriously need to work on this stuff more though.

Finished Explosion

Okay, this is the finished product!  I had to rush it a little so there are some eliments that aren't quite how I wanted them, but I'm happy with it.  There are two options: one with a slight radial blur, one with out it.  What one looks better?
