While the world is focused on trying to control the obeisity problem, which is a real threat, there is another side that is often neglected.  This video makes a wonderful example.

Lions Card Competition

Every year the Detroit Lions football club has a contest for people (not sure if it's just students, or students from where) to design their holiday (yay for being PC) card for that year.  This is my submission.  10X14 (to be reduced to 5X7) PSCS4

DIL 317A - Jealousy!

So I have long followed this gentleman named Petar Meseldzija and even have his blog linked over on the side of my blog.  His style and subject matter is always so strong a powerful.  Thick, bold brushstrokes give the impresion of movement and animation while intricate pencil and brushwork bring his images to life.  His stile is one that I will forever refer back to when I need inspiration

Louisiana Crawfish Spot

We had to make a spot illustration for a newspaper article about Louisiana crawfish.  The print size was 6x4.  Oil on gessoed 12x8 illustration board

Hare's Mask Color Rough
